Routine

The revolutions began a little more than 50 years ago. A new society was born, new cities were formed and the government was re-structured. Our society was broken apart in a caste system. On the very top, are the government high-officials and other important people that govern this nation. Below them are us, with the clergy. We are the police, we protect the citizens of Zelanda and also defend the nation from other foreign countries as we stand as an army. The clergy controls the religion and the culture in our country. Life in Zelanda is really repetitive, a routinely schedule organized to be perfect and flawless, to keep us from doing inappropriate things. The merchants and the artisans are below us, they maintain the economy and make the fine arts that the rich enjoy. And in the bottom of the pyramid  are the servants and the labourers that work on the factory and produce the goods and farm the food we all eat. The Untouchables are not even considered a part of our society, as they do not contribute to the cause and are seen to be the cause of the Plague that devastated our country and the whole world. The government has taught us to hate them, to despise them and to fear them. We also enforce that they do not interfere with actions done by lower or higher classes.

My mornings are the same everyday. I wake up and drink my medications with a cup of coffee. This medicines prevent us from getting sick with the Plague, which is the fault of the Untouchables. Our government is so kind as to give us medications against the Plague. I proceed to put on my uniform that is the same for all of us working in the United Forces.  When we see a poster of our great leader, we have to salute and worship him like 11 seconds, because of the great favors he has done for this country. After work at the UF Department, I arrive at my house to see the national tele-vision show, featuring Kimmono Kardinski as the host. Every night there is a show and everyone watches it simultaneously. After that we eat supper and go to sleep, but first we all sit down at the living room to pray for our glorious government.
